Legal Resources for LGBTIQA+ Community Members

On July 2, 2009, Chief Justice Ajit Prakash Shah and Justice S. Muralidhar of the Delhi High Court transformed the lives of India’s LGBT citizens by reading down Sec 377 of the Indian constitution. Their judgement  decriminalized same-sex acts in private between consenting adults. This reprieve lasted us four years, until the verdict was overthrown by the Supreme Court of India in the Koushal 11-12-13 verdict.
