I would like to clarify that not all of us who consider ourselves to be transgender want to ‘become the opposite sex’. Some of us are simply opposed being boxed and labelled as ‘man’ or ‘woman’; and not all of us want to be boxed as ‘third gender’ either. Hopefully in the coming years there will be more spaces and visibility for transpeople who have non-binary identities.
